Dr. Chanko Chankov (Копие)
Dr. Chanko Chankov is an orthopedic specialist in Sofia with over 30 years of experience. He has undergone numerous specializations in Bulgaria, Australia, Switzerland, and Israel.
Education
Dr. Chankov graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 1986. He acquired his specialty in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1994. Between 1998 and 1999, he was a fellow at Darwin Royal Hospital, and from 1999 to 2000, he was a fellow in the Department of Orthopedics at Alfred Medical University in Melbourne, Australia.

Biography
From 1987 to 1989, Dr. Chankov worked as an assistant orthopedic specialist at the Military Medical Academy (MMA) in Sofia. From 1989 to 1996, he served as an orthopedic specialist at the Clinic of Sports Traumatology in Sofia. Between 1997 and 1998, he was a doctoral student in the Department of Traumatological Surgery at Hadassah University Hospital in Israel. From 1999 to 2008, he practiced in the Third Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University Emergency Hospital “N.I. Pirogov” in Sofia. Since 2006, Dr. Chankov has been working as a leading orthopedic and traumatology specialist at VITA Multispecialty Hospital in Sofia.
He is fluent in English and Russian.
